The Área de Empleo, Distribución e Instituciones Laborales (EDIL) of the Instituto Interdisciplinario de Economía Política (IIEP, UBA-CONICET) and the International Labour Organization are pleased to announce the V International Conference “Labour Transitions and Income Dynamics in Latin America” to be held on November 26-27, 2026, at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Submissions of papers or extended abstracts (no fewer than 2,000 words) are invited on the following topics—or other closely related ones—focusing on Latin American countries:

• – Labor trajectories
• – Occupational mobility
• – Income instability and insecurity
• – Persistence and dynamics of poverty
• – Intergenerational mobility

Papers and presentations can be in Spanish or English. The conference will be held in person and is free of charge.
